06:39 < wumpus> I don't know; I think it "just works" (see https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/issues/17652), at least for sake of the tests, butalso I don't want to support a 7 year old version of libevent, if problems do come up

06:42 < wumpus> so I don't want to officially declare supporting it, even though it runs for the tests, this doesn't mean e.g. bitcoind won't crash with filedescriptor leaks or when http requests arrive in quick succession (we had some bugs with that in the past)
