08:55 < pinheadmz_> ok i see, so ctv hash is in the witness when the op_vault is being spent from. it becomes the second stack item when op_vault is being evaluated. so in the init tap leaf you commit to the *number* of eventual stack items, but that number isnt even interpreted until the ctv hash has been determined and added in
