I've been finding it convenient to call the opcode-based construction "script multisignatures/threshold signatures" and the non-opcode version "scriptless multisignatures/threshold signatures" to distinguish between them. Is there any reason that's terrible terminology? I don't 11:24 < harding> think it materially conflicts with the idea of scriptless scripts, which is a term readers may later encounter, and which is the only potential conflict I've thought of so far. 11:52 < andytoshi> I think this is fine 11:52 < andytoshi> and it is consistent with the other use of "scriptless scripts" I think, so hopefully won't cause confusion 13:15 < harding> andytoshi: thanks! 13:35 -!- tristan_ [~tristan_@122.50.206.51] has quit [Ping timeout: 260 seconds] 13:37 -!- Guyver2 [~Guyver@77-174-98-73.fixed.kpn.net] has quit [Quit: Going offline, see ya!
