I read the discussion on bitcointalk, and saw that there was a lot of push back against the use of payments channels for p2pool. I must add, I personally think the use of schnorr signatures you described in the last post on the thread does make a lot of sense.

For example, if we were to use both ln p2pool and the braid ideas together, then how do we form the payout transaction. I think you alluded to a potential solve in the bitcointalk posts. I'll read them once again.
