10:03 < waxwing> ok i think i have a functional build script wine -> joinmarket-qt exe that works on Windows. That was .. uh not so easy. But seems reproducible.

10:05 < adlai> waxwing: that is incredible. I was not surprised to read that the "is not [an] emulator" approach works for running programs compiled in windows, but using it as a build environment is truly cool!

10:11 < waxwing> running JM on Windows and connecting to Core over the LAN and connecting to IRC .. the user data location, everything works pretty seamlessly actually. at least so far, for me. dlls for secp and sodium are bundled in (that was one of the main things i wanted to get right).
10:12 < waxwing> so obviously having others test it on a different windows machine will be the thing. then .. the macOS guys will complain about the lack of a dmg, but tbh i am not getting involved in code signing stuff.
