It asks if you want to restart your interrupted tumble, which could be interpreted as either "Do you want to start the run where you left off?", or "Do you want to start over from the beginning?". I'm sure there is some official technical definition of 'restart' in 03:41 < Scrub> play here, but I had to basically guess. 03:41 < waxwing_> Scrub, good point, thanks for feedback 03:41 < Scrub> No problem 03:42 < waxwing_> btw this is not a great time to be running schedules of big coinjoins, i guess you know that already 03:42 < Scrub> Yeah, I noticed 03:43 < Scrub> Looks like half of the amount finally made it to MD2, but I'll just hold off on the tumble for a while 04:22 -!- Gino7Trantow [~Gino7Tran@static.57.1.216.95.clients.your-server.de] has joined #joinmarket 04:51 -!- reallll [~belcher@unaffiliated/belcher] has joined #joinmarket 04:53 -!- reallll is now known as belcher 04:55 -!- belcher_ [~belcher@unaffiliated/belcher] has quit [Ping timeout: 268 seconds] 05:04 -!- Gino7Trantow [~Gino7Tran@static.57.1.216.95.clients.your-server.de] has quit [Ping timeout: 256 seconds] 05:10 -!- rdymac [uid31665@gateway/web/irccloud.com/x-krpwughwneqicyjx] has joined #joinmarket 07:22 < Scrub> Another couple of questions: 1) Why aren't the maker fee options present in the QT settings tab? 2) To make sure I understand it correctly, let's say I am CJing 100BTC (I wish). If I set the absolute fee max to 1BTC, and the relative fee max to 0%, will any (reasonable) maker work with me, or will it lock out anyone who wants to charge a 07:22 < Scrub> percentage? 07:31 -!- puddinpop [~puddinpop@unaffiliated/puddinpop] has joined #joinmarket 07:37 -!- jonatack [~jon@213.152.162.99] has joined #joinmarket 08:02 < waxwing_> why aren't they present - i *think* what you're seeing there is that the settings tab dynamically picks up the options from the config file, so, if you do not write them in the config file once, they will not appear in the tab. 08:03 < waxwing_> honestly i wanted to ditch that settings tab, it's kind of scuffed. understood that it might be annoying, but you're better off just always using the joinmarket.cfg text file for edits. 08:03 < waxwing_> i mean, as far as i know, it does work correctly (the settings tab), ie edits do what they're supposed to. 08:04 < waxwing_> but i don't like the messiness of it. 08:07 -!- waxwing_ is now known as waxwing 08:07 -!- waxwing [~waxwing@81-178-153-121.dsl.pipex.com] has quit [Changing host] 08:07 -!- waxwing [~waxwing@unaffiliated/waxwing] has joined #joinmarket 08:23 < Scrub> waxwing 1) Yeah, uncommenting them in the file made them show up. 2)As for the settings tab, I also meant to report that my check_high_fee was reset to default after updating (actually reinstalled the whole thing). It seems like the settings listed under the GUI header in the settings tab are saved somewhere other than joinmarket.cfg, which is why 08:23 < Scrub> they didn't survive my lazy update. Could be confusing to users to have the settings split across two files. 3) Replacing the tab with an "Open settings file" button should be enough, although then the program must communicate whether/when the user needs to restart to apply the new settings. 08:26 < waxwing> Scrub, about GUI section i think you're right. in fact, the necessity of the GUI section (containing settings which aren't to do with the GUI!) is an old problem that i forgot about. 08:26 < waxwing> "Open settings file" .. seems like a decent idea. 08:27 < waxwing> if you have a github acct pls feel free to open an issue describing these problems you found (if not no worries) 08:30 < Scrub> With any GUI-specific settings, it might be best to fold them into the normal settings file and just ignore them if the user is running CLI. 08:30 < Scrub> I don't have a github account. 09:01 -!- kristapsk [~KK@gateway/tor-sasl/kristapsk] has quit [Ping timeout: 240 seconds] 09:27 -!- coconutanna [~coconutan@gateway/tor-sasl/coconutanna] has quit [Remote host closed the connection] 09:28 -!- coconutanna [~coconutan@gateway/tor-sasl/coconutanna] has joined #joinmarket 09:58 -!- ghost43_ [~daer@gateway/tor-sasl/daer] has quit [Remote host closed the connection] 09:58 -!- ghost43 [~daer@gateway/tor-sasl/daer] has joined #joinmarket 10:06 -!- kristapsk [~KK@gateway/tor-sasl/kristapsk] has joined #joinmarket 11:35 -!- rdymac [uid31665@gateway/web/irccloud.com/x-krpwughwneqicyjx] has quit [Quit: Connection closed for inactivity] 12:01 -!- fiatjaf [~fiatjaf@2804:7f2:2a84:e3c0:ea40:f2ff:fe85:d2dc] has quit [Ping timeout: 264 seconds] 12:34 -!- zndtoshi [~zndtoshi@79.112.63.203] has quit [Quit: Going offline, see ya!
