00:12 < brabo> well "new", vaping is around for a good 15 years. i've smoked for 24. if i keep smoking for another 1-2 decades, i have really big risks on really nasty things. so far no one got ill or died from ecig vaping. so those longer term unknowns? i take that risk

00:45 < brabo> well, in eu things are more regulated, but there stay point where honey cut scenarios can occur. vape liquids soon must put all ingredients on their labels. yet most flavours are actually sold as food flavours, which are not regulated as such. so, can still happen if some genius starts selling something that some food flavour producers incorporate in their products..
00:47 < nmz787> yeah seems like the smartest thing would be for a smoker to switch to unflavored e-cig stuff, then get off vaping entirely

00:49 < brabo> unflavoured stuff has as downside it does not check the box of: i taste something
00:49 < brabo> so psychologically it gets in the way of it being as succesful as it can be as nic replacement therapy
00:50 < brabo> and it it proven to be twice as effective as the next best thing in that regard
