15:52 < nmz787> there's definitely some sort of drift happening with their system... I asked the sales (?) guy but he didn't understand, so I just sent him that image to make the point clear(er)
15:54 < nmz787> I can imagine.... stage drift (need a better stage), bad calibration (maybe easy to calibrate out with a known-geometry sample), some sort of electronics drift in some analog circuit (something with hysterisis in the raster circut??), or possibly something like image pincushion due to the piezo probe thing not moving linearly across the imaging field (seems like this would be a calibrate-able thing

16:00 < nmz787> I helped bring that to reality... did all the conversion from digital calligraphy images to e-beam lithography, including a model for mantra density extrapolated for a roll of wound film with given thickness, "core diameter" (i.e. the cardboard paper towel roll that paper towels wrap onto and around) and final outer diameter
