16:47 < docl> has anyone done any detailed speculation on what it would take to replace the nucleus in a eukaryotic cell with an artificial mRNA synthesis system? it seems like you could cut out a lot of complexity if you had a standard script that specializes the cell in a given way and keeps it in repair. probably needs to also have probes that determine if the level of a given mRNA / protein is high vs low. but
