21:24 < shesek> is there a particular reason sortedmulti() did not yet get implemented in rust-miniscript? just because no one got to it yet, or is there some complexity around it, or a disagreement on its necessity?

21:26 < shesek> well, despite the confusing the name, rust-miniscript is miniscript+descriptors. it has a bunch of other stuff that only exists as descriptors

22:03 < shesek> I have branch for bwt with descriptor-based tracking, which is pretty neat. been wanting to get this done for awhile now. :-) I started working on making the bwt electrum plugin compatible with multisig based on the descriptor support, and realized midway through that I can't actually make that work without sortedmulti. it would be sweet to have it, I had a bunch of people ask me about multisig support already
