11:15 < adiabat> testnet has a lot of tiny blocks, so it might be worse on mainnet where the blocks have more txs in them
11:16 < adiabat> also it breaks if any blocks have different txids that collide the first 8 bytes.  I don't think such a block exists... but it would be easy to create a block like that if you wanted
