08:15 < willcl_ark> I don't understand how can I be getting BDB version mismatch during `make check` (and running bitcoind) after using the install_db4.sh script to specifically build with 4.8? Everything in config.log looks to be correctly specified...

17:41 < luke-jr> fanquake: we were setting CC/CXX to host-g⁇-8, but the wrappers didn't have the -8 (I think there were other issues too, but I'd have to sort through what's Knots vs Core on them)
18:18 < luke-jr> on the bright side… I commented a month or two ago about Guix requiring more resources, so I had to drop my -j2 to -j1 in the build VM. Turns out, that was actually the code changes, not Guix.
18:19 < luke-jr> maybe I should have saved the error to figure out which module might be good for splitting up (the VM had 2 GB RAM..)
