I've been enabling it for some of my individual open source projects, but I don't have a lot of experiences actually using it yet. I actually always wanted to have something like Discourse instance for communities of my projects, but that does not have easy free instances for little projects like mine. Now that Discussions are available it seem like it's 90% what I wanted in the

10:44 < dpc[m]> Also the fact that it's right there in your project makes it just easier to find, use and track, I guess.
10:47 < dpc[m]> For my own personal projects I feel the maintenance and "customer support" burden more and anything that helps offload it is an advantage. Any library with enough users, no matter how well documented brings a stream of people asking similar questions, discussing similar things etc. If they can find their answer right there in github and help each other that's great.
10:47 < dpc[m]> And stack-overflow / forum / reddit -like formats seem more like what downstream developers are used to.

10:51 < dpc[m]> That's how I see it, yes. Issues is then purely for tracking "TODO, bug reports, etc." Kind of like Jira. :D

10:53 < dpc[m]> One of the first thing I did after enabling Discussions is converting bunch of existing issues into discussions because they weren't todo items but questions, discussions and suggestions.
