12:35 < andytoshi> the versions of cargo are the same, the dep trees are the same (you can sort then diff the "Downloaded ..." lines), there is just some mysterious breakage somewhere
12:37 < andytoshi> it sure seems like cargo has changed our code, completely silently, though fortunately in a way that causes a visible breakage rather than a backdoor
