14:24 < yonson> yancy: I can't speak for steven's crate, but have an idea on the other two. We recently broke the p2p crate out of bitcoin in the name of crate busting, but also allow things to iterate a bit quicker there (e.g. new message types for stuff like utreexo). I am not sure how much logic will end up there in the future, for now its just holding encoding stuff and special p2p constants and I imagine  its scope won't grow fast. The 
14:24 < yonson> 2140 p2p crate is more experimental. Rob and I are dumping learings from his Kyoto work there. It has higher level aspirations like a "Connection" type which handles everything under the hood. Including new fancy stuff like bip324 traffic shaping.
