14:00 < ildella> Hi again. Questions about best practices in terms of network security. Now my full node has both bitcoind and lightningd, with rpc and rest interfaces enabled. I have a ufw service with only open 9735 for LN to work. Opening 8332 to access RPC/REST from remote is not secure. That is why (I guess) it is better to have, let's say on on the same VPS, another server like Electrum or Ligthning Charge so I can connect via the Web using a LN wallet like

15:45 < ekiro> So I set up a full node btc & lnd node and attempted to make my first lightning transaction ordering your stickers.  out of the box there are no channels. and your checkout page only gives me the invoice address.  it should include the URI too, for use cases like mine. it seems kind of ridiculous i have to go to another site (1ml) to get some channels before I can complete my order on blockstream.
