07:27 < darosior> Concretely, in https://github.com/ElementsProject/lightning/pull/3300/files#diff-a78f9f800f2058dc93ed8a4d87031956R1038-R1048 : there are init and init2. init is populated then sent through the wire (towire), and init2 is populated by decoding this message (fromwire). They have the exact same content but init2 seems to be padded with (lots of) 0x00
