For testing, I am trying to have fixed node priv and pubkeys even after complete cleanup (fresh start), so I use this flag to set the privkey. This appears to work; the node public key (id) is as I expect, however if I then try to extract this privkey from hsm_secret, I do not find the correct key... Does this flag not affect the content of hsm_secret somehow?

10:58 <@cdecker> willcl_ark: yes, we do not touch `hsm_secret` once it has been created, and the flag just replaces whatever we read from the file in memory, not in the file. This is so that users don't accidentally nuke their private key.
