05:42 < cdecker[m]> Yes, we renamed pylightning to become pyln-client at some point, simply because it was shorter, and it allowed us to namespace all the various parts (pyln-testing, pyln-proto, ...) under the pyln namespace. That was not possible in pylightning since the root module needs to remain empty

05:44 < cdecker[m]> Oh yeah, we still have some users that are using pylightning, which is now an empty shell deferring the actual implementation to pyln-client, hence the requirement pulling in pyln as a compatibility solution
