08:04 < qxt> testing $lightning-cli emergencyrecover on testnet. After intentionally removing the lightningd db it made channel stubs. Great. Thing is the man says its also suppose to close the channels. It just makes the stubs.

08:16 < qxt> Well its one of two things. The pdf manual needs to be corrected or lightning-emergencyrecover is half working.
08:18 < qxt> man say :The emergencyrecover RPC command fetches data from the emergency.recover file and tries to reconnect to  the  peer  and force him to close the channel.  The data in this file has enough information to reconnect and sweep the funds.
