03:03 < waxwing> jm_loser : sorry for the shitty situation. i would make this suggestion: remove the index_cache: back up wallet.json, and make a new version where index_cache is deleted, OR, just recover the wallet from seed (which will also have the effect of removing the reference to the cache). Then try to sync again. You should not need to rescan again. You may need to bump the gap limit in this case.

05:07 < waxwing> 2/ i've fixed that bug in #586 now, as well as fixing what it was intended for: it should be possible to always sync in maximum two runs, even on a fresh bitcoind.
