07:34 < waxwing> yeah looks like it. i was a bit confused because there was something else preventing installation, which is clear from the other jobs. we'll see if it's persistent.
08:03 < waxwing> so, it seems that a fresh install locally works including running tests, but there's some issue with python-bitcointx not recognizing the secp binding it's using when running on travis. i'm guessing maybe it's because the libsecp256k1 is not system-installed there, whereas i did that on this machine according to instructions in Simplex/python-bitcointx repo

On 13 Mar (what is that, yesterday?) there was a change to pytest and it seems to break out tests. Specifically the "DirtyReactorAggregateError" is now breaking all the twisted based tests again.

09:56 < waxwing> undeath, if you could help at all on this it would be greatly appreciated. i've now pip installed pytest-twisted to try to address what the new pytest is insisting on, but it's giving errors that are insanely difficult to understand.
