generally connection issues are a possibility, but at first glance i'm not sure what would cause "estimate fee: 0%" 04:26 < waxwing> chad2000, since you're on command line, you may find ~/.joinmarket/logs/TUMBLE.schedule and ~/.joinmarket/logs/TUMBLE.log useful 04:26 < waxwing> the latter is supposed to be a high level summary of progress, although by the sound of it there may not be much there. 04:26 < waxwing> also make sure your console_log_level is DEBUG or, if it wasn't, look at the latest ~/.joinmarket/logs/J5**.log file which will contain the debug log messages for that run. 04:28 < Evanito> hey wax just wanna say thanks for the interesting project 04:31 < waxwing> Evanito, which project? 04:41 < waxwing> been playing around with Kukks' donation server for testing, that's what prompted the thought. just done a second successful one this morning to sanity check a code change. 04:42 < waxwing> it's definitely the quickest coinjoin out there, takes like sub-second. centralized servers have advantages :) 04:43 -!- MaxSan [~four@46.183.220.203] has joined #joinmarket 04:46 < belcher> not a bad idea 04:47 < waxwing> https://btc.donate.kukks.org/ <-- what it looks like, just enter a test amount to see the payment screen. the bip21 uri is in the copy section, and ofc works with or without payjoin. 04:47 < waxwing> but hey such things can be annoying to setup .. i heard btcpayserver is easy, but i'm always suspicious 05:40 -!- tlo1337 [~tlo1337@142.183.170.75] has joined #joinmarket 05:44 < tlo1337> i ended up getting yg started (got to JM daemon setup complete after running the script and connecting to both IRC servers). however, not too long after getting it setup, it lost connecting to one of the IRC servers but then got connected to that same server again several minutes later. I haven't noticed any action since then, but i'm just curious if that's normal and it's okay to keep waiting for action? ty 05:59 < kristapsk> tlo1337, yes, that's ok 06:00 < tlo1337> ok thank you i'll keep it running then! 06:15 -!- viasil__ [~viasil@134.19.189.124] has quit [Read error: Connection reset by peer] 06:18 -!- viasil [~viasil@134.19.189.124] has quit [Ping timeout: 260 seconds] 06:19 -!- viasil [~viasil@134.19.189.124] has joined #joinmarket 06:19 -!- viasil_ [~viasil@134.19.189.124] has joined #joinmarket 06:25 < chad2000> waxwing, I was able to send a basic sendpayment with 0 counterparties so I don't think it's my bitcoind connection. AlexCato maybe? 07:04 -!- kristapsk [~KK@gateway/tor-sasl/kristapsk] has quit [Remote host closed the connection] 07:04 -!- kristapsk [~KK@gateway/tor-sasl/kristapsk] has joined #joinmarket 07:08 < chad2000> waxwing: when I tried to do it over tor the log just showed ' building irc' thats it. I don't know if I setup tor properly though. I downloaded the tor browser and had it open when I tried to connect, and I uncommentecd the lines beneath 'for tor' in the config 07:13 < chad2000> it still says the estimated fee is 0% though. and one debug line says 'rpc: getnetworkinfo None'. 07:17 -!- Selina29Gerhold [~Selina29G@ns334669.ip-5-196-64.eu] has joined #joinmarket 07:19 -!- tlo1337 [~tlo1337@142.183.170.75] has quit [Quit: Leaving] 07:26 -!- grubles [~blockhash@unaffiliated/grubles] has quit [Quit: brb] 07:56 -!- Selina29Gerhold [~Selina29G@ns334669.ip-5-196-64.eu] has quit [Remote host closed the connection] 07:57 < waxwing> chad2000, show your MESSAGING section irc config settings. also yes your bitcoind rpc connection is clearly not working so that has to be fixed. i'm busy rest of day, perhaps someone else can help further? 08:18 < chad2000> waxwing I think I can probably fix it now that I know where to look.
