I've posted a smallish offer using absoffer as a test, and it doesnt appear in the obwatcher, while it does appear in the IRC pit. 07:20 < davterra> When I change my offer to reloffer, it does then show up in obwatcher...but not with absoffer 07:22 < waxwing> davterra, thanks for the report. i will investigate. 07:22 < davterra> Thank you 07:23 < waxwing> any other details you can give? mainnet i assume? and yg-privacyenhanced, and you put 'absoffer' in the section at the top of the file? 07:23 < davterra> yes to all 07:24 < dc81_> i was able to publish an sw0absoffer just now... 07:24 < waxwing> hmm. 07:24 -!- Marlene76Stiedem [~Marlene76@static.57.1.216.95.clients.your-server.de] has quit [Ping timeout: 258 seconds] 07:24 < waxwing> dc81_, did it show up in an ob-watcher though, or did you just see it on irc? 07:25 < davterra> weird...and the fact that my offer shows up in the IRC pit but not obwatcher seemed odd 07:25 < dc81_> nvm.. not on my ob-watcher 07:25 < davterra> ok 07:25 < dc81_> just saw it on irc 07:25 < davterra> right 07:40 < waxwing> ah yeah found the bug, it's in yg-privacyenhanced. see this line: https://github.com/JoinMarket-Org/joinmarket-clientserver/blob/master/scripts/yg-privacyenhanced.py#L63-L70 07:40 < waxwing> because it wasn't changed to include sw0, it will non-integer randomize fees for abs offers, and then they just get ignored. 07:40 < waxwing> will fix it now. 07:40 < waxwing> davterra, dc81_ ^ 07:41 < davterra> awesome! thank you! 07:48 < dc81_> my abs offer is showing up now on ob-watcher 07:48 < waxwing> done in ebd54d68e19e9dbf012ba9ae1fa3d5df5372f9a0 07:48 < waxwing> (was minor and very clear cut so didn't bother PR-ing) 07:53 < davterra> cool...will update asap 08:05 < davterra> waxwing, after updating to ebd54d and starting an absoffer, still not showing on ob-watcher after several browser refreshes/cache clearings 08:06 < davterra> as before, offer is visible in IRC 08:06 < waxwing> huh. it showed for me. maybe i can try again. 08:07 < davterra> I will try another time also 08:08 < waxwing> still working for me. i just set 'absoffer' instead of 'reloffer' (and i also varied from the default 500 for cfee_a so i could more easily see it). 08:09 < waxwing> you're running your own local ob-watcher right? also double check the new code is actually being run (like you might pull but be in the wrong branch for example) 08:10 < dc81_> i just made the changes to yg-privacyenhanced.py locally and it's showing up 08:20 < davterra> waxwing, it was my stupid error. I totally spaced out the fact that you changed yg-privacyenhanced.py and after updating overwrote your update with a saved version....duh.... 08:20 -!- coconutanna [~coconutan@gateway/tor-sasl/coconutanna] has quit [Remote host closed the connection] 08:20 -!- Evanito [~Evanito@cpe-76-87-174-228.socal.res.rr.com] has joined #joinmarket 08:22 -!- coconutanna [~coconutan@gateway/tor-sasl/coconutanna] has joined #joinmarket 08:24 < waxwing> lol, it happens. a lot :) 08:26 < dc81_> yeah, it would be nice to have the variable set in a separate file or environment 08:28 < dc81_> also, the "rotate orderbooks" is ob-watcher was not exactly obvious 08:34 < waxwing> yeah making it separate config is something no one every got round to. I asked Max Hillebrand about it, since he also runs JM on debian 10/qubes...he's not having the same issues. I'm wondering if it possibly could be related to my use of KDE desktop within qubes....but that's a real edge case. 18:26 < kristapsk> davterra, looks like I can reproduce, have two errors - "No module named 'PIL'" and "No module named 'Image'", will look into it 18:26 < davterra> yep 18:27 < davterra> installing pillow was all I needed to fix it. 18:38 < kristapsk> davterra, looks like I fixed it with https://github.com/JoinMarket-Org/joinmarket-clientserver/commit/6300eda4f43956c5001f1f77cc392f6cdc6af43f, but could you please re-test? 18:39 < kristapsk> re-running install.sh is required for a proper test 18:39 < davterra> sure.....will report back in awhile. Thanks 18:41 < davterra> will the fact that I've already installed Pillow in my jmvenv be undone by install.sh ? Otherwise, how will I know if your fix made a difference? 18:45 < davterra> nvm....figured it out 18:48 < kristapsk> davterra, yes, install.sh will ask you, do you want to recreate your virtualenv from scratch 18:49 -!- technonerd [~techno@gateway/tor-sasl/technonerd] has quit [Ping timeout: 240 seconds] 18:49 < davterra> yeah, I saw that....that's why I followed up with the "nvm"....thanks though. 18:54 -!- davterra [~davterra@69.4.234.71] has quit [Remote host closed the connection] 18:54 -!- davterra [~davterra@69.4.234.71] has joined #joinmarket 19:00 < davterra> kristapsk, your fix took care of the QR code issue as well as seemingly fixing other issues I was experiencing with the QT function, i.e., spurious windows opening alongside the main QT/app window, and they wouldnt close no matter what I tried.
