07:12 < waxwing> paul476, that is a good point, the setup around restart is kinda primitive. indeed the restart just goes by what's in the schedule, but i remember making the instructions say 'leave exactly the same command line settings' because one or two of them do actually matter.
07:21 < waxwing> yes, indeed that's an example, the 'are there any coins in the source?' check is carried out even if restart, which is wrong as you say. for now the above advice stands (e.g. the wallet is created with a specific number of mixdepths, another reason you have to re-use same mixdepth parameters), but for sure this should be fixed up.
07:22 < waxwing> iirc in Qt this is all done without issue under the hood so it's kinda silly that it isn't handled on command line.
