If i am running bitcoind over tor and in my bitcoin.conf i have stated onlynet=onion, and I have port 8333 open, is my node reachable from a .onion address? how would I find that address? Apologies for possibly having a poor understanding of how tor addressing works.

But if there is not a hidden service, surely there is some address associated with my bitcoind on the tor network that my peers are talking to right? is it just some random onion address that changes every time I connect?

01:17 < waxwing> on the joinmarket front, there is a nice, though advanced, way to set it up so you can make your RPC calls to the onion

01:18 < rojiro> waxwing: thank you! I thought -netinfo was giving me the name of a single peer, but it might indeed be giving me my local .onion address for 8333
