I think install.sh requires sudo which will probably place things in my appvm that will get nuked on reboot, so I don't know if that is a viable way forward on qubes.

09:15 < waxwing> install.sh handles some external dependencies; builds libsodium and libsecp; handles some real weirdness with libffi that i'm not sure i understood myself.

Sounds like setupall is no longer supported then by itself? I assume it was used for 'qubenix' installs since app qubes don't really keep much else besides what's in /home after reboot.
