In ETH I think it would be possible to do some convoluted defi interactions to trick Chainalysis but in BTC the only ways I could think of would involve sending coins to companies like Coinbase and withdrawing but obviously if they're tainted the companies will probably freeze them. Or when the government seizes and auctions coins the 17:33 < rhepotsirhc> blockchain companies probably remove taint. I don't mean "laundering" techniques like buying NiceHash rentals or whatever, I mean purely or at least mostly on chain ways. 19:00 -!- bitipy_ [~quassel@gateway/tor-sasl/bitipy] has quit [Remote host closed the connection] 19:00 -!- bitipy [~quassel@gateway/tor-sasl/bitipy] has joined #joinmarket 20:17 -!- dc81_ [~dc81@146.70.50.90] has joined #joinmarket 20:19 -!- dc81 [~dc81@146.70.50.90] has quit [Ping timeout: 265 seconds] 20:51 -!- rhepotsirhc [~rhepotsir@c-76-122-152-105.hsd1.mi.comcast.net] has quit [Remote host closed the connection] 22:02 -!- bitipy [~quassel@gateway/tor-sasl/bitipy] has quit [Remote host closed the connection] 22:03 -!- bitipy [~quassel@gateway/tor-sasl/bitipy] has joined #joinmarket --- Log closed Sat Dec 24 00:00:54 2022
