08:45 < StackJ> About 1 week ago I may have corrupted my bitcoin core by accessing the chainstate to find UTXOs for a non joinmarket purpose. I noticed today that at least some coinjoins in my maker bot are reusing a coinjoin receive address. As well my wallet balance is lower than it should be. Which tells me that it can't see some joins I participated in but when a new join is made and outputed to my receive
08:45 < StackJ> address it previously used, it now sees that that address was not empty. Currently I am running 'bitcoind -reindex'. That will take a while to finish. When it is done, I expect I will need to do something to my jm wallet for it to find all its coins. What would that be?

20:48 < ocb> StackJ: im not comfortable with jm internals, so unable to comment it from technical aspect. going with pure logic it may be that either bitcoin daemon wallet associated with joinmarket wallet did not successfully sync and did not keep track of used addresses. it would have probably been a faster option to run 'recoversync' first before doing reindex, to save some time.
