16:12 < matsjj> krisives, I saw your question on botbot. Both the wallet and the node network run in a mock-blockchain-mode right now. Running against testnet (or even mainnet) is supported by just switching a flag in the Constants class

16:34 < matsjj> Yes, I haven't looked at the nodes for a while, because so many people open payment channels and don't close them again they run out of balance every now and again (and they can't reclaim it yet)

16:36 < krisives> matsjj: i ran it in a terminal and looked at the log while running, but i couldn't see any indication that sometimes opening a channel failed and sometimes it succeded
16:36 < matsjj> Both nodes and wallet use that mock blockchain implementation. It's a bit of a hassle to keep all those nodes full of balance all the time, especially as long as they can't claim it back yet. We need more algorithms that determine when to close a channel too. Just because someone is inactive is not a good reason to close the channel again
16:37 < matsjj> Hm thats weird though, from my observation it would normally send an error (that is displayed in the log) if it ran out of balance. I'll take a note on that

16:40 < krisives> matsjj: I tried intelliJ when I ran Android Studio (which is based on intelliJ) but I had a ton of problems - could have been totally android related though
16:40 < matsjj> When was that? I remember giving android studio a try when it was new and it really had a lot of problems. Nothing like that anymore though
