04:20 < realtbast[m]> If blocks aren't full yes, this is always better for miners. If the transactions backlog is small (only a few blocks worth of transactions), it may or may not be better for miners depending on what other transactions will be submitted in the future
04:41 < remyers[m]> That makes sense; so in the case where blocks aren't full it doesn't matter what relay nodes do because miners will prefer to increase the absolute tx fees in their block vs. mining a replacement with a higher fee rate. But otoh that tx won't be pinned if it's included in a block at a lower fee rate, so the problem is only when the backlog is smallish?
