10:19 < BlueMatt[m]> I don't believe its "over the lightning protocol" (or really lightning-related at all). lightning isn't a good tool for this - lightning is designed to be point-to-point (why tell the world about your payments, they just concern the sender + recipient, though we have to tell everyone on the path, sadly). twitter is broadcast.
10:22 < realtbast[m]> I totally agree with Matt here, that lightning is not a good messaging layer for something like twitter. I even don't think it's a good tool for something like chat, and always said whatsat was a bad idea, but that's just my opinion ¯_(ツ)_/¯
