The studies I saw seemed to mostly be using low n-values. And there are possible theoretical concerns with cancer. This seems like one of those substances where most of the evidence would be found in gym locker rooms rather than academic

It's enough for your body to notice and attack it, when combined with a bunch of adjuvants, but that's about it. And the liposomes needed to get it inside cells efficiently is also quite toxic, so you can't just arbitrarily bump up the dose
