For example, a lot of the tea in the stores comes from China and has heavy metals in it. I drink my tea from Japan because the papers I've read seem to indicate I'm less likely to hit the heavy metal lottery. I havent read the papers on coffee, but I'm guessing you can reduce heavy metal exposure based on where it's grown. 06:12 < L29Ah> how about caffeine? 06:21 < hprmbridge> Eli> if you get pure caffeine from gum/pills it should be easy to check heavy metal content. However, you are missing a lot of the polyphenols that come from coffee/tea, and you're missing out on the fact that green tea tastes amazing and goes well with certain foods. 06:22 -!- pew-pew [~pew-pew@user/pew-pew] has quit [Read error: Connection reset by peer] 06:23 -!- TMM [hp@amanda.tmm.cx] has quit [Quit: https://quassel-irc.org - Chat comfortably. Had two kidney stones, not sure if that's related. 17:14 < darsie> I've been doing this for years, kinda. 17:15 < darsie> I'm lethargic. 17:15 < L29Ah> did you try vaping caffeine? 17:15 < darsie> Can't remember, maybe. I tried inhaling caffeine aerosol. 17:15 < darsie> Like, shaking my caffeine jar and inhaling it. 17:16 < L29Ah> if you miss the kicked-in-the-face feeling of a stimulant rush, you may like ammonia 17:18 < L29Ah> not sure though what's healthier; ammonia is more transient than the alkaline powder at least 17:18 < darsie> as a chemist I've smelled ammonia numerous times, but didn't try to inhale more. 17:21 < jrayhawk> https://darktka.github.io/motivation.png 17:24 < NewtonTrendy> darsie is caffine the main answer to lethargy? 17:24 < NewtonTrendy> i love it when i get a clear day 17:25 < darsie> I don't get much done even with caffeine. 17:26 < darsie> I now inhaled caffein dust and it kicked in. Dunno how much I inhaled. 17:26 < L29Ah> maybe you got chalk instead of some of your vitamin supplements? 17:27 < darsie> I have calcium tablets, so I guess you're right. Well, they're CaCO3, not CaSO4. 17:27 < darsie> HMm ... Chalk is a soft, white, porous, sedimentary carbonate rock. 17:27 < L29Ah> well i meant the one that shouldn't be chalk turns out to be chalk 17:27 < darsie> ik ;) 17:28 < darsie> No, my vitamins are what they're supposed to be. 17:42 < hprmbridge> Eli> Did you do a differential diagnosis on yourself?
