If you're trying to link genes with parkinsons, I'm guessing that the bioinformatics people have already done a lot of work with GWAS. Here's a couple open access papers: 0.1038/s41588-023-01584-8, 10.1038/s41531-025-00933-0. People with bioinformatics degrees take quite a bit of math. I don't know if you've ever played with bioinformatics, but they go
