Hi, @IC There were 325 words that were not uniquely identified by the first 4 chars. I've fixed that. Also, simple words (* by simple I mean 4 char words *) now fill more space; @S7R You were right about __adesiv__ - fixed that; The other sugestions, _topmodel_, _walkman_, _web_, _yachting_ were also removed. Between _acvatic_ and _acvaplanare_ only _acvatic_ remains in the list; I have also remove words starting with the letters _Q_, _W_, _X_ and _Y_ because most of the words used in Romanian were borrowed from other languages (mostly English, eg. web / yacht / walkman ...); I am confident that the wordlist is now complete and correct; Please see attached, the wordlist and some statistics about the word distribution. Thanks, Attached is the new list; Thanks, On 8/5/21 1:29 AM, s7r wrote: > ic via bitcoin-dev wrote: >> Hi, >> >>> On 4 Aug 2021, at 12:30, Justin Valceanu via bitcoin-dev >>> wrote: >>> >>> I have created a new Romanian wordlist for Bip-0039; >>> Requesting permission to push to github the attached modified files. >> >> Although I don’t think it ’s hard requirement, it would be great if >> the words could be uniquely identified using the first 4 letters >> (most metal backup “plates” only have space for 4 letters). >> >> I see several occurrences of conflicting words in the first page alone. >> >> ++ ic >> > > > I am +1 on the unique identification using the first 4 letters, makes > it easy for restoring from seed on mobile wallets.
