My top preferences for the role are Murch and Roasbeef. Both have demonstrated a permissive and curious attitude towards experimentation on Bitcoin and for the role of BIP editor, I would want more quality proposals to be admitted *even if I may personally disagree with them*. It is for me to decide whether or not I like a proposal. The editor should not be making that choice for me. It was also mentioned that having a "non-Core" perspective would be beneficial to the process and I'm inclined to agree.
