--- Log opened Wed Jun 03 00:00:40 2020 00:32 < yancy> I like IRC the standard compared to Slack and other closed source proprietary chat apps that spy. Although, the socket based communication used by IRC is heavy server side compared to async json solutions like Slack. Would be nice to see slack and such actually make IETF standards that everyone can implement imo. I've read through the RFC for IRC but haven't seen anything mentioned about fetching 00:32 < yancy> logs stored server side from the client while off-line fwiw. 00:35 -!- Reyes78Rolfson [~Reyes78Ro@static.57.1.216.95.clients.your-server.de] has quit [Ping timeout: 260 seconds] 01:25 < elichai2> nothingmuch: if you're not tech-savy (running bouncers / servers with tmux/screen and SSHing into them) or you're lazy(like me :P) I highly recommend IRCCould (even though I hate JS too) 01:26 < elichai2> ops *notmandatory 01:26 < elichai2> it seems he has left, ops 02:07 -!- cloudhead [~cloudhead@160.230.205.35.bc.googleusercontent.com] has quit [Quit: ZNC 1.6.5+deb1+deb9u2 - http://znc.in] 02:08 -!- old-cloudhead [~old-cloud@160.230.205.35.bc.googleusercontent.com] has joined #rust-bitcoin 02:18 -!- old-cloudhead [~old-cloud@160.230.205.35.bc.googleusercontent.com] has quit [Quit: ZNC 1.6.5+deb1+deb9u2 - http://znc.in] 02:20 -!- cloudhead [cloudhead@2a01:7e01::f03c:91ff:fe19:352c] has joined #rust-bitcoin 02:30 -!- esotericnonsense [~esotericn@unaffiliated/esotericnonsense] has quit [Ping timeout: 260 seconds] 03:03 -!- Lisa46Daniel [~Lisa46Dan@static.57.1.216.95.clients.your-server.de] has joined #rust-bitcoin 03:10 -!- esotericnonsense [~esotericn@unaffiliated/esotericnonsense] has joined #rust-bitcoin 03:14 -!- surja795 [~surja795@c-24-62-248-154.hsd1.ma.comcast.net] has joined #rust-bitcoin 04:44 -!- fiatjaf [~fiatjaf@2804:7f2:2a81:6c39:ea40:f2ff:fe85:d2dc] has quit [Quit: WeeChat 2.6] 04:44 -!- fiatjaf [~fiatjaf@2804:7f2:2a81:6c39:ea40:f2ff:fe85:d2dc] has joined #rust-bitcoin 07:45 -!- Lisa46Daniel [~Lisa46Dan@static.57.1.216.95.clients.your-server.de] has quit [Ping timeout: 256 seconds] 08:19 -!- dr-orlovsky [~Dr_Orlovs@31.14.40.19] has quit [Remote host closed the connection] 08:32 -!- dr-orlovsky [~Dr_Orlovs@31.14.40.19] has joined #rust-bitcoin 10:15 -!- Kiminuo [~mix@141.98.103.246] has joined #rust-bitcoin 11:10 -!- guest534543 [~mix@217.138.199.44] has joined #rust-bitcoin 11:13 -!- Kiminuo [~mix@141.98.103.246] has quit [Ping timeout: 258 seconds] 11:32 < ariard> BlueMatt: I think we should get back LocalCommitmentTx in ChannelMonitor, but only do the signing in OnchainTxHandler 11:32 < BlueMatt> huh 11:32 < BlueMatt> E_NO_PARSE 11:33 < ariard> right now we cache LocalCommitmentTx in OnchainTxHandler and it is signed there if a) we dectect a time-out b) we are asked by a force-close 11:34 < ariard> and we may avoid some dup with LocalSignedTx by moving it back in ChannelMonitor, and make OnchainTxHandler free of any channel state 11:35 < ariard> but convs with devrandom and Chris in #hsm make me think we may want a thread pool or perf optimization for sigs at some point 11:35 < ariard> and therefore making signatures happen in same component, either malleable like justice or non-malleable like local commitment, sounds good to me ? 11:36 -!- guest534543 [~mix@217.138.199.44] has quit [Quit: Leaving] 14:49 -!- surja795 [~surja795@c-24-62-248-154.hsd1.ma.comcast.net] has quit [Remote host closed the connection] 15:32 -!- surja795 [~surja795@c-24-62-248-154.hsd1.ma.comcast.net] has joined #rust-bitcoin 20:37 -!- surja795 [~surja795@c-24-62-248-154.hsd1.ma.comcast.net] has quit [Remote host closed the connection] 20:42 -!- surja795 [~surja795@c-24-62-248-154.hsd1.ma.comcast.net] has joined #rust-bitcoin 20:46 -!- surja795 [~surja795@c-24-62-248-154.hsd1.ma.comcast.net] has quit [Ping timeout: 258 seconds] --- Log closed Thu Jun 04 00:00:41 2020
