11:54 < sipa> when that turned out to be too hard, i tried to just create a minimal secp256k1-specific EC implementation that just had basic optimizations, to have a fair comparison
11:54 < elichai2> How did that went? I hate openssl's architecture. Structs with function pointers everywhere and abstract over too many things imo
