08:09 < josie> the only reason id push for it is if that meant sending could get merged sooner (which could help with some downstream projects), but i get the sense it wouldnt since most reviewers would want to review the protocol and implemention holistically, ie, sending wouldnt get merged by itself until everyone had fully reviewed the BIP and the rest of the module

08:11 < josie> i think the last time the BIP was reviewed there were some suggestions for breaking changes that ruben and i were considering. at this point, while we would love feedback on future improvements (ie new sp version), we arent considering breaking changes for silent payments v0
08:12 < josie> real_or_random: also feeling pretty good about the state of the module! weve got a full-ish draft implementation in bitcoin core using the module, and over the last week i was able to finish the test coverage, benchmarks, and example
