10:11 < achow101> michaelfolkson: pools operate different stratum servers that issue different work because of how they are configured and the node they are connected to. They have to run multiple servers for load balancing and connectivity, and sometimes they don't update them at the same time.
10:11 < achow101> I've been watching the stratum output for a bunch of pools' stratums servers. poolin has 5 servers and only one of them is issuing work that signals
10:12 < achow101> for btc.com, only the US server was issuing work that signals, but it stopped doing that last night
10:13 < achow101> some pools also leave it up to the individual miners to decide if they want to signal. they might have an option in their mining dashboards to enable or disable signaling, or have a different server to connect to that will issue work that signals
